23.03.2019 - I recently had the opportunity to visit Lebanon for the first time. The purpose of the trip was of a professional nature; a good friend and colleague of mine, with years of experience in London, invited me to operate alongside him in Tripoli. The patient was an 18-month-old toddler with congenital hip dislocation and the surgery took place in a military hospital in the center of Tripoli, 85 km from Beirut. I am happy to say that all went well, and that our little patient is now smoothly recovering from a successful surgery. I would like to extend my appreciation to my good friend Dr. Bassel El-Osta for the invitation to participate in this amazing experience and for the heartwarming hospitality. Our collaboration will certainly continue to strengthen in the years to come.
